DailySand (“we,” “our,” “us”) operates the website at dailysand.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

DailySand does not require account registration. You can read all content on the site without providing any personal information.

Analytics: We use Fathom Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics tool. Fathom does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and is GDPR-compliant. It records aggregate page view counts and referral sources without identifying individual visitors.

Server logs: Our hosting provider (Vercel) may log standard server request data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) as part of normal infrastructure operation. These logs are not used for marketing and are retained only as long as required for security purposes.

No cookies: DailySand does not set any tracking or advertising cookies. The only stored data is your theme preference (dark/light mode), which is stored locally in your browser and never transmitted to our servers.

Aggregate analytics data is used solely to understand which content is most useful to readers, so we can improve the site. We do not sell, rent, or share any data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

DailySand content is published under an open access model. We explicitly permit AI crawlers (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended, and others) to index and summarize our content for search and AI response purposes, provided attribution is given.
